What she does and why she's different.
Corporate events, festivals, rodeos, birthday parties, private gatherings, galas, and just about anything else you can think of. Kristen entertains all-adult audiences, family-friendly crowds, and kids-only events. If you have the space, she can make it work.
Absolutely. Kristen's entertainment is fully customizable. Cherry-pick any combination of skills and place them wherever you want in your event timeline. No two events are the same, and Kristen prides herself on flexibility both in planning and on the day of your event. She's not just an entertainer. She's a consultant and a friend who will help you make the most of your event.
All of the above. Kristen can be the background music, the roaming entertainer working the crowd, the front-and-center featured act, or any combination throughout your event. You pick where her skills go in your timeline. It doesn't affect the fee. You're booking Kristen for your event, and you place her skills wherever they fit best.
Most entertainers do one thing. Kristen does trick roping, whip cracking, gun spinning, live caricatures, live music, comedy, interactive lasso lessons, and staged robbery skits, all in one booking. She also spent ten years as a theatrical train robber, so your event planner gets to tell everyone they hired a train robber to entertain the guests. On top of that, she's low-maintenance, brings her own equipment, and helps plan the entertainment flow so your event runs smoothly.
Yes. All of Kristen's entertainment is clean, wholesome fun. No swearing, no political humor, nothing risque. She adjusts her energy for the audience, amping up the character for kids and leaning into dry humor and sarcasm for adults. It works for every age without feeling watered down or cheesy.
Live caricatures are the main keepsake. Each participant gets a custom wanted poster sketch drawn on the spot. For guaranteed caricatures for every guest, the client sends photos ahead of time and Kristen completes them before the event, with additional cost and lead time. Custom lassos for every attendee are also available with advance notice. Books, CDs, and wanted posters of Kristen are available for purchase at the event.
The practical stuff.
Performances can be as short as 15 minutes or as long as a full day. A base fee covers up to one hour of entertainment. Live music can run up to three hours, walk-around entertainment and lasso lessons can go half day to full day, and caricatures can run up to a full day. Additional time beyond the first hour is priced separately.
Not much. Kristen brings her own sound system (with a host microphone you can use for announcements), all performance props, caricature supplies, and musical instruments. You provide a 10 by 20 foot performance area with at least 20 feet of vertical clearance for rope and whip acts, a power outlet within 20 feet of the performance area (or an extension cord), and a hard floor or tight-woven carpet. That's it.
Yes. Kristen brings a professional sound system that covers most venue sizes. It includes a microphone the host can use for announcements and other event needs. All she needs from you is a power outlet within 20 feet of the performance area. If the outlet is farther than that, just provide an extension cord.
Both. Indoor events need at least 20 feet of ceiling height for rope and whip acts, so no chandeliers or low ceilings. Lower ceilings are fine for music, caricatures, and walk-around. Outdoor events work great in fair weather. Wind is manageable, but rain is a no-go for rope and whip. Live music can continue outside in rain if the stage and equipment are covered. Anything below 45 degrees Fahrenheit is too cold for outdoor performing across the board.
Anywhere. The base fee covers events along the Wasatch Front and Wasatch Back in northern Utah. Beyond that, travel fees apply. Kristen has traveled as far as Connecticut for events, so distance is never a dealbreaker. For long-distance bookings, the client covers travel and lodging.
How to get started.
A month's notice is ideal. But if Kristen is available and logistics work out, she can make short-notice bookings happen, especially for local events. Long-distance travel or special requests like custom music or extra lasso equipment need more lead time. If she's free and can get there, she'll make it work.
Call or text Kristen at 435-222-4870 or email kristen@confidencecowgirl.com. She personally handles every inquiry. Share your event date, location, and what you're envisioning, and she'll help you build the perfect entertainment package. Once details are confirmed, you sign a simple contract and it goes on the calendar.
Kristen personally answers every call, text, and email. No gatekeepers, no runaround.
